Overview

Cuprinol Woodworm Killer is formulated to kill all types of woodworm. It’s a clear water-based product that penetrates deep into the wood to prevent re-infestation and ensure long-term protection. Never use on beehives or beekeeping equipment.

Preparation

Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss.

Application

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated.

• Apply liberally with a paint brush
• Flood the affect surface with 2-3 coats
• Pay particular attention to end grain, corners, joints and crevices
• Re-treat any surfaces cut after treatment and replacement timber
• This product may cause darkening of some timbers
• Most decorative finishes such as solvent based or water based paints, woodstains, varnishes, polishes etc can be applied after the fluid has dried
• Rough sawn timber will absorb up to twice as much as planed wood
• Treatment is usually dry within 1-3 days
• Drying time may be extended in confined areas such as under floors and in roof spaces
• Apply only in dry conditions, above 5°C and when bad weather is not forecast

Aftercare & Storage

Do not use or store in extremes of temperature or wet conditions.
